Convert Your List

Goal: Convert existing contacts to a list you can text.

Who’s it for: Ideal for customers with an existing contact list that may or may not include phone numbers.

Here’s How It Works

1. Add contacts: You can upload a list of existing opt-in contacts or connect your customer relationship management (CRM) system and automatically import contacts.
2. Sort: The Rally platform will help you filter landline and mobile phone numbers, so don’t worry about not having that information. For contacts lacking mobile numbers, you can reach out via email to grow your list (if you use one of the email clients we integrate with, such as MailChimp or Active Campaign, you can automatically send these emails within the Rally platform).
3. Confirm: You can set up an optional confirmation text in Rally to welcome your new subscribers (you can use one of our pre-written templates). The message will ask them to opt-in to future messages to make sure you’re in compliance (it’s optional, but a good practice for marketing/solicitation style messages).
4. Text: Start texting! Ideally this is part of your mobile marketing strategy. You can engage supporters, raise money, and connect in a crisis. Just don’t be useless. See other solutions for text-to-donate, text message broadcasts, peer-to-peer texting, and alert text messages.
